It might come as a shock, but I have a need to post this up.
This post is mainly about what I see and observe these 2 weeks. I know that I am no Jr or high ranked member in this guild, but as a member of CLT, I have to point this out.
Referring to Awi's comment, I couldn't say more except for really agreeing with him. The term "fixed" is actually very misleading. And cause a lot of misunderstanding, and hence, lead to the separation of guild members. This is actually a very sad scenario.
I know the intention is good, but what is being written by one person, will not be perceived as the same for another person. I know the fixed pt is to help the guild members to get skill books which is the original idea, but, what will the others think of this fixed pt idea?
E.g of what I've got from a few number of people are: controlling, there is a hidden intention behind it, etc.
and the gm should know who to trust and who not to. Just because the gm quit maple, and the others leave the guild too? Just because the gm says members are free to leave, then you click on "leave" guild? Can't you all as Celesticians actually bear with our GM? He did say, he should be back for HT run. Where is the spirit of togetherness and unity? I am not saying cannot, but at least, like that awi had said, give some time. At least until HT run, to ask, to clarify.
And what disappoints me the most is, the fixed pt member of zakum run (one of them) actually left CLT too.
What does this imply?
I know that celestica is facing a lot of problems now. Hajl is trying to save the guild, but in the end, it seems like, non of his effort is appreciated. The effort in trying to make the guild lively again, and bear in mind he is the Jr. In my point of view, whosoever you are, there is a need to ask the Jr who add the new members into the guild before expelling them. This is because, without asking and just expelling, this shows there is a disrespect for that particular Jr. I am not supporting anyone here nor blaming anyone. This is common sense.
For example, if I am the Jr, and I add new ppl in the guild. And another Jr just come and expel all of them without my permission. What is the point of becoming a Jr then?
Questions here is, we can actually see
- those who are responsible
- those who just abandoned their responsibility
- the habit of over controlling
- unreasonable rules, words--- that leads to misleading statements
Perhaps, before everyone do whatever they want to do, the first thing is, think of it first. Is it right or wrong? Will it hurt the other person or party's feeling? Will the statement lead to any uncomfy feelings among the guild members? Will it mislead the judgement of the other people? And not doing things out of emotional outrage.
I sincerely apologize if I've hurt anyone in all that I've written there.
